Halloween - Thanksgiving 2016

We had a busy and fabulous fall! Here are a few highlights!

Nini and Granddadders were in town for Halloween! David gave them a personal tour of the Space Center.

And we took them to Galveston!

And celebrated Halloween in a Galaxy Far, Far Away!

Halloween was super! Michael got to trick-o-treat with friends from school. His friend's mother decorated a trailer, and the truck was driven by another parent. The parents and grandparents got to ride while the kids were going house to house! It was a blast, and Michael had enough candy to last a long time!

Oh hai!

Michael is doing well in school. We went to a Family Fun Night a few weeks ago. One of the activities was ladder ball. David seems to have forgotten where Michael gets his skills from (ME...as evidenced on the 4th of July)! Ha-ha!

Michael continues to enjoy Cub Scouts. Recently, we made care packages that will be sent to troops serving overseas.

And Michael made his First Reconciliation!

And I passed my dissertation defense!

(And David is the employee of the month of December at the Space Center!!!)

We visited the family in Groves for Thanksgiving. Michael loved seeing his cousins and playing with Hadleigh.

Michael loves his great-great Uncle Allen, who was also in town.

Here's Hadleigh with David.

And a happy birthday to Diego! Best schnauzer chiweenie I know!

Ghosts and Goblins Cub Scout Camp

David, Michael, and I went camping overnight with the Cub Scouts a few weekends ago. This was our first successful camping trip with the Scouts. Last year, we attempted to camp twice but were rained out both times!

The camp was "Ghosts and Goblins." There were Halloween activities, costumes, and an outdoor movie after dark. No campfire, but David and I told Michael ghost stories in our tent.

Our costumes...Friday Night Lights and Fantasy Football

Friday Night Lights

Good times!
