Dentist Appointment

Michael had a dentist appointment a few days ago. 

Look how calm he is!

Here's why:

There was a TV in the ceiling, and they played Big Hero 6 during his appointment.

TAPME Awards

David won two state-wide writing awards from the Texas Associated Press Managing Editors. He won first and third prize in Sports Column Writing in Division 1A.

The first place column is "Soccer Invades My Life." (Judge's comment: "Can totally relate to being a first year soccer dad. Good stuff!")

The third place column is "Taking the Ice Bucket Challenge." (At the bottom of the page, there also happens to be a cartoon about a guy naming his fantasy team the Caffeinated Schnauzers...haha!)

College Station

Awhile back, David, Michael, and I went to College Station. We went to the Hullabaloo Diner to meet some great friends--Brad, Kristen, and Lincoln and Sarah, Aaron, James, and Rachel.

The boys got pancakes bigger than their heads. We joked it was Man v. Food, but food won.

After our fun lunch, David, Michael, and I went to an Aggie Women's Basketball game. It was a pink-out game (raising money for breast cancer research).
