Zen Baby
Michael is still my zen baby.
When he was a newborn, he used to sleep with his little feet together, his legs forming a diamond. He looked so peaceful and like a person in a meditative posture.
Yesterday, I was doing yoga. Michael was up from his nap, so he was running around. He came over by me and started copying my movements. He's a little yogi (and a lot more flexible than me)!

Michael's 2nd Christmas--Part I
Yes, it's Spring Break. Yes, I'm this behind blogging! Oh well...it's fun for me to think about these great times!
Christmas is a season, and we're so fortunate to have family and friends to celebrate with all season long.
We went to see Christmas lights in the park twice. This is a great display of lights in College Station's Central Park. One of the features is a huge tree made of Christmas lights that you can run under. You can also spin and make the lights twirl.
Video MVI 3044 shows Michael running around the base of the tree. One of the other kids running around is his very good pal, James. Video dizzy is what it looks like twirling under the tree.

Michael's daycare had a Christmas program. David and I were very impressed with the show. Michael and his classmates walked in single file as either reindeer or sheep to the song "Away in a Manger." Yes, you read that correctly...SINGLE FILE!!!!!! Amazing what these kids can do. Michael was an adorable reindeer, and he was the first in line, holding his teacher's hand. At the end, when everyone clapped, Michael started clapping too. Love it!
We had a Christmas dinner with David's family (The Colemans, Harveys, and Keiths) about a week before Christmas. Michael had fun playing with the family and opening his mountain of gifts. But, Michael's at that age when it's not all about the presents. It's more about the bags they come in!
