Spring Little League

I'm late posting about Little League, but Michael had a great spring playing t-ball.

Running to third

Michael developed a lot as an athlete, and it was such a delight to watch him play. He also made the All-Star T-Ball team, and we were proud parents.

All-Star Cool
Also, Michael got to participate in a Little League Day at Minute Maid Park. He was in a parade before the game, and then we watched the Astros play.

So, better late than never to share the pics! I think Michael will be playing more baseball in the future!

New Braunfels Trip '15

With the move behind us (for now), it sure was great to take a break in New Braunfels.

This year, we had a lot of fun tubing the Comal River (seen behind Michael in the picture below). The weather was beautiful, and the water was refreshingly cool. It was a thrill to see Michael's delighted face as he traveled down the "rapids."

Every year, it's also nice to spend time with family and friends. Jill, David, and I went to Gruene Hall, which is the oldest dance hall in continuous use in Texas.

For the first time, I also visited Naegelin's Bakery. (I've had it before...but it has always appeared at the rental condos courtesy of David's grandma! This was my first time visiting the bakery.) Naegelin's is said to be the oldest bakery in Texas, open since 1868. Fun selection...and...I was super happy. They had wonderful cream horns!!!!

Another fun year in New Braunfels.

Happy Fourth of July

We're still unpacking and trying to recover from the move, but of course we still had to celebrate the Fourth of July. We found a spot to watch one of the fireworks shows in the Woodlands. Michael especially liked it, and he had a fireworks dance.

There was one big explosion that Michael fell over watching:
