Michael was REALLY excited to have Uncle Bob in town. Guess who he always wanted to sit by...
Here are Bob and Michael at Sylvia's Enchilada Kitchen (#48 on the Houston Chronicle's Top 100 Restaurants).
Bob, Rodney, and I went to lunch at the Red Lion British Pub one afternoon for lunch. It was feathered on Diners, DriveIns, and Dives. The guys had Indian, and I had shepherd's pie.
Bob, Rodney, David, Michael, and I went to a super driving range called TopGolf. This was Michael's first attempt with "real" clubs (not plastic golf toys), and he hit some sweet shots!
We had a great meal at Benihana. It was Michael's first time to a hibachi grill.
On Friday, Bob, Rodney, and I went to Galveston. (Michael was at school; David was at work.) One of the coolest things was riding the ferry and dolphin spotting!
We also explored Fort Travis (built/occupied early 20th century to protect the harbor).
Bob also got to see Michael at football practice, and we did a little shopping in Houston. My brother also got to meet my dog Diego, and Rodney seemed to really like Optimus (my tuxedo cat). Cheetara (orange cat) never made a public appearance.
